What is the cancellation policy?

Reservations for this property are non-refundable.  All monies paid are non-refundable. There are no refunds for cancellations, changes in dates, or shortened stays, for any reason. We recognize that unforeseen events occur, which is why we highly recommend travel insurance. We can provide more information about travel insurance after you book online. 

Do you offer Travel Insurance?

Yes! We offer two different travel insurance options for guests. While travel insurance is not required to stay with us, we highly recommend purchasing coverage to help protect your vacation investment. 

How do I book a home?

You can either make a booking directly on this website by using the “check availability box” to the left. Or you can call our office at 850-270-2370 and a reservationist will be happy to help you!

What are the benefits of a vacation home rental?

Vacation home rentals offer more space, privacy, and comfort than hotels—perfect for families or groups. Enjoy full kitchens, private amenities, and a home-away-from-home experience, often at a better value.

Is booking online secure?

We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information when you place an order. We offer the use of a secure server. All supplied sensitive/credit information is transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and then encrypted into our payment gateway providers database. It will only be accessible by those authorized with special rights to such systems. They are required to keep the information confidential. After a transaction, your private information (credit cards, social security numbers, financials, etc.) will not be stored on our servers.

Can I bring my pet with me? Are pets allowed?

We have a many pet friendly rentals that allow 1-2 dogs with a pet fee. You can view these rentals on our website under the “Pet Friendly Rentals” Any other rentals unfortunately no pets are allowed due to severe allergies or condo association rules.

How do I get into my condo/house?

We will email you the units door code a few days prior to your arrival. The guestbook link will give you any and all information you could want about your unit and the local area.

I have a large vehicle, what is the parking garage height?

If your unit has a parking garage, that information is provided under parking information in your pre-arrival information.

Can I check-in early?

Check-in is at 4 PM. Some units may be eligible for early check-in at 1 PM for a small additional fee, based on availability. If you arrive early, feel free to explore the area or relax at the beach while you wait!

We arrived early, can we still use the pool or go to the beach?

Guests staying at a condo with a pool may begin using the pool and beach amenities any time on their arrival day through their departure date. If you’ve rented a house with a private pool, access begins at your scheduled check-in time.

How do I get my parking passes?  Will there be enough parking passes for me?

You will get parking instructions with all your arrival information. When parking passes are required, they will be left in the property for you.

Can I get more toilet paper, towels, foil, etc.?

Unlike hotels, vacation rental condos offer starter supplies only—just enough for the first few days of your stay. This includes items like 2 rolls of toilet paper, 1 roll of paper towels, and basic toiletries. Most units have in-unit laundry, and there are several nearby stores for anything additional you may need. Please note: no seasonings or pantry items are provided.

Is the Kitchen stocked?

All of our properties feature well-stocked kitchens equipped with the essentials for cooking and dining. Standard items include pots and pans, bakeware, cooking utensils, silverware, drinkware, wine glasses, dinnerware, coffee makers, blenders, and toasters.

Do the properties have internet?

Yes! All of our properties include complimentary Wi-Fi internet access for guest use during your stay.

Do allow parties?

We do not allow parties, loud gatherings, or spring break groups. If you have questions about your group or the purpose of your stay, we encourage you to contact our reservations team before booking.

The sliding doors are so hard to open! Why?

Beach properties are required to have hurricane grade sliding doors to sustain winds up to 135 mph, so they can be a little harder to open.

How do I use beach service?

If your property includes beach service, simply check in with the beach attendant, let them know you’re with Sugar Palm Vacation Rentals, and share your condo number, they’ll take care of the rest! Please note, not all properties offer beach service, and when available, it’s provided from March 1st through October 31st.

The Beach Service includes 2 chairs and 1 umbrella. I have my own chairs and an extra umbrella. Is that okay to bring down to the beach?

Of course! 

Can I smoke or Vape in my unit or on the balcony?!

Absolutely no smoking, vaping, candles, incense, or open flames are allowed inside the unit or on the balcony/patio. Violating this policy may result in eviction and the guest will be held financially responsible for any damages, including stains, burns, odor removal, and the replacement of affected items.

How do I get a late check-out?

Some units may qualify for a late checkout at 1 PM for a small additional fee.
PLEASE NOTE: This is subject to availability and must be requested by 6 AM on the day of departure.

All properties require the primary guest making the reservation to be at least 25 years old and remain at the property for the duration of the stay. We reserve the right to conduct random occupancy checks to ensure this requirement is being followed. Underage drinking and/or partying is not allowed. Non-compliance of these rules and regulations will result in immediate eviction with no return of any and all payments made.
